Vintage Easter Craft Roundup - Part 3
I don't really making any Easter crafts, but I do remember one year when the Easter bunny left me a craft. When I awoke that Sunday morning there was a paper plate bunny adorned with cotton balls above my Easter loot. i also remember that was the first year I got a pair of panty hose and in that moment the Easter Bunny trumped Santa. Today is our final day of vintage Easter crafts in a 3 part roundup. Hope you have been inspired to make some kitschy.
Sure this Bunny Bottle Holder pattern from “50 Gifts to Make from Better Living,” 1952 is holding a baby bottle. However, nothing says you could not transform it into a festive koozie for an adult beverage.
I wanna know more about this picture. What is that green egg shaped bunny display thing in the middle? A centerpiece perhaps? Also love the egg tulips. Thanks Camp Smartypants for sharing the Easter cuteness.
Speaking of the paper plate bunny my mom made me... These cute little baskets look easy enough to make and wouldn't they be fun made with colored paper plates. I have tons from various leftover parties.
McCall's Needlework & Crafts from Summer 1970 has some dang cute kitten and bunny terrycloth bibs. Shall I make my kiddlet a matching set?
The ladies at McCalls know how to take egg decorating to a new level, just check out those googly eyes and clothes pin duck bills.
A crafty girl can never have too many centerpiece options.
The Vintage Knitting Lady has oodles of cute patterns for sale including these chick slippers.
Even Popular Science gets in on the Easter action. Thanks Pearl's Sentimental Journey for sharing. The Airstream Trailer Egg is the pièce de résistance.
These are all fab! I think my fave this time is the black and white center piece! I do SOOOOO love any little animal pulling a wagon!!
