Austin has it's self a brand spankin' new fabric store called The Common Thread. Recently opened in South Austin it features a variety of modern, affordable and eco-friendly fabrics. Owner Jeanie Brown will host a happy hour event at the Common Thread, open to the public, where you can view her fabrics, enjoy a discount, socialize with fellow fashionistas, and perhaps win a door prize or two on Thursday, September 24th from 6-8pm.
