Like most red blooded indie crafters, I love a good bunting. I know, I know you can't open Google reader without seeing another bunting how-to, but that does not make me love them any less. Hell, I've even made my own Halloween version. Not all buntings are created equal. Clever crafters are taking the traditional fabric banner and tweaking it into all kinds of fun things. Like this amazing necklace from Anthropologie.

Check out this cute how-to where Mrs. Priss whips up her own version with some craft paint and leather scraps. Mommy like.

Some people might argue that if Anthropoligie and Urban Outfitters are selling a trend than it has jumped the shark. You have to admit though they are pretty ahead of the curve and top of the crafty trends. Take for instance this cutie patootie bunting bedspread. Thanks Lolalina for pointing this one out.
Since I didn't get to throw Tallulah a proper 2nd birthday I am going through party planning with drawls. This adorable little bunting cake topper from Kara's Party Ideas gives me heart pangs it is so cute.

Rummy Bears some might say what you did to those vintage Golden Books is sacrilege. I say you my friend are a genius.

I have the mother load of vintage hankies (I collect everything else, did you really think I didn't have a slew of hankies tucked away). I was never sure what to do with them, but The Crafty DIY Bride has a good idea.

I'm not sure what I love more this fabric bunting paper lantern or the name of the blog from which it came, You Had Me at Bon Jour.

How About Orange has a PDF for a bunting that strokes your ego. As if the little flags were not perky enough to make you happy, now they pay you a compliment too. I like compliments.

Bunting often makes me think of the circus. Apparently, it makes Mary's Grand Daughter think of it too.

A quick trip through Etsy and the blogosphere and you will find tons of cards, prints and invites depicting bunting. I think my favorite is this baby shower invite from Erin ever After.
If it wasn't my bedtime and I didn't have a hungry baby staring at me this blog post could go on for days. Bunting as far as the eye can see is there on the internet. Do you have any favorites? Any amazing and unusual how-tos that I am missing? I can never see too many.

AH! So much bunting cuteness! I've had my eye on that bedspread for quite some time... so darling!
Thank you for stopping by to say hello and linking to my necklace, by the way. It was great to hear from you!
