Wanna Win $500 Worth of Books?

Wanna win $500 worth of reading goodies from Chronicle Books? Lord knows I do. Maybe both of our dreams can come true! If you help me win, I'll help you win. This is how it works... I'm gonna give you my dream list of $500 worth of Chronicle Books (lord-e-Bee I could choose a $1000) and all you have to do is leave a comment and we both could win. Chronicle is going to choose one blog and one reader participating in their Happy Haul-idays Contest - Is it really that easy? Why yes it is! Onward with my list....

Cake Pops: Tips, Tricks, and Recipes for More Than 40 Irresistible Mini Treats Remember those Cake Pops & Cake Pop Carrier I made awhile back? I owe all my inspiration to Angie Dudley and her fab website Bakerella.

I want to start Tallulah early on the fundamentals of Indie Rock early and The Indie Rock Coloring Book by The Yellow Bird Project seems pretty perfect. Actually let me go ahead and add the Graffiti Art Coloring Book and Johnny Joe's Coloring Book.

I have to add something to the list for the hubbs & loves him some skateboarding books. Sean Mortimer's Stalefish: skateboard culture from the rejects who made it seems right up his alley.

I love home decorating books, especially ones that feature eclectic interiors. I have never seen To Each His Home: Inspired Interiors as Unique as Their Owners by Bilyana Dimitrova but it sounds like I would feel right at home flipping the pages.

At the ripe old age of 20 months Tallulah has made the rounds to most of Austin's museums. It might be awhile before we can take her to the Moma, Tate or d'Orsay so in the meantime I think Mini Masters Boxed Set by By Julie Merberg and Suzanne Bober might suffice.

I'm always looking for new activities to do with my toddler. Just this week we have painted pottery, been to the Jumpy Gym, hit up the Children's Museum, visited the zoo, had countless play dates & we still have plans to ride on a glass bottom boat this weekend. However, I could always use more ideas and Lynn Gordon's 52 Activities for You and Your Toddler (52 Series) seems perfect. Let's not forget the baby on the way - I'd love a copy of 52 Activities for You and Your Baby as well.

I'd happily welcome any of the cook books from Chronicle into my collection. Lately I have been in a baking mood. As a matter of fact I just signed up for a cupcake decorating class this week. That being the case I think their Pretty Cupcake Kit would be perfect for me! As much as I enjoyed making my Recycled Cardboard Cupcake Coozies & Cupcake Toppers, having pretty ready made liners and toppers seems a lot easier. I'd heart some Cath Kidston Cupcake Liners too!

Obsessive Consumption: What Did You Buy Today? by Kate Bingaman-Burt has been on my wish list for a good long while. If I drew everything I bought this week I'd be sketching out old Fisher Price Toys, kitschy Santas & some avocados among other things.

Here comes Santa Clause and I'm getting my house ready. A copy of Christmas Trees: Fun and Festive Ideas by By Peter Cole, Frankie Frankeny and Leslie Jonath could breath new life into my tinsel tree collection. I'd also love to get my hot little hands on I'm Dreaming of a Green Christmas: Gifts, Decorations, and Recipes that Use Less and Mean More by Anna Getty.

You guys might remember my double post on Tallulah's 1st Birthday Party. Fiestas like that one deserve to be documented in cute little spiral bound journals like Happy Birthday to Me Journal: A Keepsake Album of Your Celebrations

I can't decide if I want Pops!: Icy Treats for Everyone or Perfect Pops: 50 One of a Kind Popsicles That Will Rock Your World. Cupcakes and Doughnuts are so last year - right now it's all about the Macarons. I figure popsicles will be the next big thing.

Tallulah and I recently picked up Peek-A Who? by Nina Laden from the library and the smile that came across her face every time we did peek-a-choo-choo was priceless.

I wish I had stroller cards when Tallulah was wee, but it is not too late for baby #2. I'd happily stroll with any of the cards but MoMa Shapes and Colors and Eric Carle Touch and Feel Cards seem especially fun.

I know Easter is a ways off, but I like to plan ahead. I have just started decorating for Easter and now that I have a kiddlet (2 by next Easter) I have started crafting for Easter too. That being the case seems like Easter Eggs: 40 Fabulous Projects for the Whole Family and Easter Treats: Recipes and Crafts for the Whole Family (Creative Crafts) would help a mom out.

Tallulah is just stating to get into birds. As a matter of fact making a bird feeder is very high on my to-do list. My husband is also into birds and talks of going on a bird watching tour. Seems like we would all find Bird Songs Bible: The CompleteI llustrated Reference for North America enjoyable.

Top Chef is by far my fave show on TV. Top chef Master, Just Desserts, All Stars - you name it, I watch it! I'd love to test my skills with a few recipes from Top Chef: The Quickfire Cookbook and Top Chef The Cookbook.

I'm not sure what the difference is between the two One Line a Day: A Five-Year Memory Book (Five Year Memory Book) but either one would be nice to start baby number 2 off on the right foot. I wish I had had one of these journals when Tallulah was born.

My hubby loves trivia books and Secret Lives of the U.S. Presidents: What Your Teachers Never Told You About the Men of the White House sounds like a real page turner.

Wow did we make it to $500? I could keep going, but I won't! Remember just because you leave a comment does not mean either one of us are going to win, but I am keeping my fingers crossed for both of us! Any books from Chronicle on your wish list?

P.S. You might enjoy some of my older posts about various Chronicle Books - most include a fun how-to project. Check out: Handmade Hellos, Stencil 101, Sukie & Mike Perry Iron On Kits, Wallpaper Projects, and Sublime Stitching Bib Kit.
