You might recall from my posts
here,
here,
here and
here that I have a thing for vintage Fisher-Price toys. I just can't say no to them. You might have also known that Fisher-Price has started to re-issue a few of these vintage gems. Tallulah already has the
Fisher Price Two Tune TV
,
Basic Fun Fisher Price TV Radio
,
Snoop n' Sniff
,
Bouncy Bee
,
Chatter Telephone
and
Basic Fun Teaching Clock
. My friend
Vickie just sent me an email informing me that there is a new set available and I am so giddy with excitement I can hardly stand it. With no gift giving holiday or birthday in the near future, what is a mom to do? I know load up on the toys now and dole them out in the future!
Feast your eyes on the latest releases and I dare you to try not to race to your local Target to load up!
All of these are at target?? That is the best news of the day.
ReplyDeleteWell I can't say I know that for a fact. However, that is where I got all the other re-issued toys for Tallulah.
ReplyDeletebe still my beating heart is right! the record player??? now, if only target were in canada. BAH!
ReplyDeleteThey had them on Amazon so you might check there. I am super excited about the record player. Tallulah has already broken my vintage one (actually it might have been my niece) either way I'll be glad to get one she can play with.
ReplyDeleteOh My-The record player, oh my-I want it!
ReplyDeleteMy brother and I had that record player when we were little -- I wonder if my parents still have that in a box somewhere! (And I wonder if the new release version has the same tunes...)
ReplyDeleteI've always loved Fisher price toys as well..I have a few of the new Little people and if I had kids I would have all these super cute remakes.
ReplyDeleteI loved the choking hazards that were the Little People. I had a whole village.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny you posted this - I was just telling my husband about how much I loved my (old) Little People and about my Fisher Price Movie Viewer - which I still have. I need to find that viewer now, I think my son would totally love it!
ReplyDeleteMegan - you should ask your parents! My friend Vickie just brought back her vintage record player from her parents house. One of the pieces in my collection was mine as a child. I bet the record player plays the same songs.
ReplyDeleteJen I know it's hard to believe that the old little people are choking hazards. I have so many cool vintage little people toys like the original boat above and a carousel. Alas, Tallulah will just have to live with the new larger versions.
Stacy, everyone on my Facebook page was talking about that movie viewer. I never had one, but it looks pretty rad.

The record player was my favorite as a child, in fact I think my mom still has mine, it doesn't work. I need the new one! :)
