Mommy Meet Up

I realize that the further along in this pregnancy I get the less I blog. I just wanted to let you know that it was not because I am stationed on the couch watching baby shows on TLC and the Lifetime Network. It seems I am somehow crazy busy these days. Sure I watch my fair share of baby shows, but I am also teaching classes, hosting parties, going to clothes swaps, decorating nurseries, cleaning windows, having house guests. It seems like I am doing more in the last few weeks than I have in the last 9 months.

One of my favorite actives as of late was hosting a Mommy Meet Up. I started thinking I have so many friends that are either preglet or have small kids we should be getting together every so often. Some of these moms don’t know each other and their kids are super close in age – I smell a play date. Here are the pictures of our first meeting this past Friday at my house.

Have you ever tried to decipher the instructions to a Metro Wrap? You need a Phd so I was glad my mother was there to help. I used Chris’s old Oscar the Grouch doll as a guinea pig because I was scared to use one of the real babies for fear of faulty wrapping.


Jen is preggers with baby numero 2, Gretchen holds her first wee little girl and Erin is in the family way with her first baby.


Jen and Chasity had a picnic on the kitchen floor with their adorable little boys.

So don't think for one minute that I am not blogging because I am being slack, I'm not blogging because for some odd reason I'm swamped busy!
