MARTIN DEGVILLE from Sigue Sigue Sputnik has always scared me a little bit, let’s start the day with that statement. I mean really before there was Marliyn Manson there was this dude with fishnets on his face.
Kurt and Hope were here late the other night and he was telling me that these guys used to do commercials for L’Oreal too and I fought tooth and nail explaining someone from Generation X wouldn’t do that. Apparently not only did they do that, but they pulled a total Moby and sold like every song from an album for commercials. Very interesting.
So Christmas orders are swallowing me whole, but I think I am going to pull through. For whatever reason scrabble bracelets are H-O-T! It’s a weird phenomenon. I think I have 60 more packages to get out before XMAS, maybe 50 more cards to sign and 2 interviews to do today. When it rains it pours I tell ya. I am not complaining, beats answering phones and wearing panty hose like when I was a secretary.
